GLOBAL AND POLITCAL ELITE WORKS AT THE MOVING WALLS AT THE CURRENT WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM IN DAVOS

At this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF), which takes place in Davos from 23 – 26 January 2018, the global and politcal elite works at the Moving Wall. More than 3.000 leading politicians, top managers and representatives of international organisations and civil society will attend the forum under the motto „Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World“. Heads of state and business leaders use the mobile and modular presentation surface of Moving Walls to outline and solve complex world problems. Especially when being used in complex situations and discussions, such as the World Economic Forum, the support of dialogue and interaction is essential. Exactly for this scenario, the modular, writable and room-structuring Moving Wall is being specified.

NZZ REPORTS ABOUT MOVING WALLS AND ITS SPECIFICATION AT THE WEF

With a detailed feature in the NZZ Bellevue, the renowned Swiss daily paper Neue Zürcher Zeitung reports yesterday about the Moving Walls, their current and continuous specification at the World Economic Forum as well as about the background oft he mobile boards, the idea behind it, the founders and the designer.

Yesterday’s entire article with all important background information on the walls, interviews with the founders and the designer can be found and read – although only in German – here.

«The radical reduction in form, the smoothly flowing lines and the flawless surface, but mostly the easy handling of the «Moving Wall» is responsible for the fact that in Davos even ministers and CEOs of important companys fall on their knees in pleasure, to write down their thoughts even on the very last centimeter.»

MOVING WALLS CO-FOUNDER ACTS AS FACILITATOR AT WEF

Patrick Frick, co-founder of Moving Walls and the Value Web, also works as an important facilitator at the World Economic Forum. The reason for the Moving Walls’ existence and their development, was a requirement from the World Economic Forum a few years ago, to have a tool for the participants to interact, discuss, come together in size-changing groups and to effectively and efficiently discuss and solve complex problems. This still is the declared aim at Moving Walls and is put into practice to date: „What moves us, is how do we enhance human capability to solve complex problems. One way is to improve collaboration.“
